19-Year-Old Ohio Man Pleads Guilty to Deadly Drunk Driving Crash

During a court appearance on November 15, 2017, Jacob Chamberlain entered a guilty plea after reaching a deal with prosecutors in Unity Township. Chamberlin faces up to six years in prison when appears for sentencing.

Chamberlin was driving with two passengers when he lost control at the corner of Creek and Metz Roads around 12:30 a.m. on May 26, 2016, according to WKBN First News 27. Chamberlin ran off the road into a ditch and crashed into a tree before his car overturned.

Chamberlin and his two passengers, an 18-year-old man, and a 21-year-old man were injured and taken to a local hospital. His 18-year-old passenger suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital, WKBN First News 27 reports.
