Cincinnati police say that drunken man crashed into a woman’s home in the northwest suburbs, leaving her hospitalized and him under arrest. The incident occurred on Thursday, January 4, 2018, around 1:00 a.m., Fox 19 reports.
According to WLWT 5, the impaired driver was having a domestic dispute with one of the occupants and was at the house minutes before the crash, kicking at the door and trying to get inside. Officers were called to the location, but the man left before they arrived.
As police were leaving the location, they saw the man’s car approaching the house. They turned around to stop him, but he hit the gas and headed straight for the victim’s home. He struck the home and hit a woman in her living room.
The woman was injured, but they were not life-threatening WLWT 5 reports.
The driver suffered only minor injuries.
The driver will be charged with aggravated vehicular assault, domestic violence, OVI and driving with a suspended driver’s license, according to Fox 19.
