Hancock, who was featured in “Little Women: Atlanta,” was driving her Cadillac on Interstate 264 in Virginia Beach when she slammed head-on into a vehicle driven by a Coast Guardsman on November 4, 2017, just after 2 a.m.
Hancock, who is four feet tall and weighs 77 lbs., told police she had two to four drinks at a bar at the Oceanfront before she drove home. After the crash, her blood alcohol concentration was 0.112 percent, far above the state’s legal limit of 0.08 percent.
Hancock was charged with DUI and maiming, but her charges could be upgraded.
The Coast Guardsman was traveling to the Oceanfront to pick up his wife after she spent the night drinking her with her friends, according to the Virginia Pilot. He survived the initial impact of the crash, but his injuries were so severe, he was put on life support. He passed away hours after the accident.
Hancock was released on bond and ordered to wear a GPS tracking device that will monitor her alcohol use.
